BOOK A CALL
with your Investor Relations representative
Dear Josb,
When creating state-of-the-art software products, the job of the DevOps team is to speed up the pace of development and deployment by breaking barriers between development and operations teams. Yet when it comes time to automate key IT workflows, work is often slowed down by a need for manual coding by highly trained and experienced DevOps engineers.
OurCrowd is investing in Kaholo, an Israeli startup that has developed a low code/no code SaaS-based platform for creating, executing, and monitoring IT/DevOps automation workflows. The details in this email are based on information received from, and verified solely by, the company.
The Problem
The move toward DevOps requires other teams, such as development, operations and QA, to execute some of the automation tasks common in IT. This, however, creates many problems, including a long onboarding process, requiring the acquisition of new languages and tools, resulting in unwieldy spaghetti scripts. In addition, DevOps teams lose control over policy compliance, leading to security risks and wasted resources.
The Solution
Kaholo's platform is based on a proprietary visual interface that allows non-DevOps engineers (developers, QA, and Operations) to easily build and execute advanced automation workflows using a simple drag-and-drop tool.
Kaholo drastically speeds up the onboarding process from weeks to days. It dramatically reduces the time and costs to set up a new workflow, and allows it all to be executed without an expensive DevOps engineer. The platform supports continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) and other complex tasks. The platform delivers automated processes 10X faster and 20X more cost effectively than existing methods, improving efficiency by an order of magnitude.
The Traction
Kaholo has gained traction. ARR grew 127% from $75K at the end Q4 2021 to $170K at the end of Q1 2022. The company projects $500K ARR by the end of 2022.
Kaholo anticipates further growth this year through the expansion of its operations with existing clients Align Technologies and JFrog, and has several leads in the pipeline including Ness, Intel, Trianz, Matrix, and Senacor.
The Round
This $1M SAFE is led by OurCrowd at a 20% discount. The SAFE will provide Kaholo with an additional six months of runway. The cap is below the previous round's valuation.

The Kaholo Solution
Kaholo's platform has two major strengths:
- A unique visual coding platform, which allows developers to code using a simple drag-and-drop mechanism.
- An automatic import tool, which allows customers to automatically import all their previous data to the platform in a frictionless manner.
These features make Kaholo hyper productive, shortening development time by a factor of ten compared to competitors, shortening onboarding time to 1-2 days instead of the 1-2 months that is the industry standard, and enabling junior developers to build complex programs that would normally demand industry experts.
