Duolingo, graphics for days and Canva tips

Hey 2022 money makers,

Happy Thursday!

This year I have been on a major creative streak.

As someone who invests in courses and education myself, each night I get out my ipad and spend time learning new digital design skills.

I've really missed doing simple and quiet things, like designing, drawing and baking.

I'm also spending 10 minutes a day trying to learn a new language. I've been sticking with it for a little bit now, so I'm pretty proud of myself.

I've tried a few different apps and so far Duolingo is my fave free platform.

It's definitely a mix of work-meets-joy with taking on new challenges, and I am really embracing the entire learning process. 👊

Part of the reason for doing the above is I plan to release a number of digital products this fall for Diva Dog Bakery.

In the past, I have hired an outside designer to help, but we are keeping things in-house this year on new projects. I have the vision in my head and I want to be able to execute things myself. 🙌

In blog news, we have 2 new blog posts all geared around getting creative, even if you don't think you are creative. 🙈

If you would like to learn how to side hustle selling Canva templates, that blog post is for you.

I started selling Pinterest pin templates way back in 2015 via Canva and today there are hundreds of items you can create to sell.

I also interviewed my friend Kelli, who lets her audience use graphics she creates and repurpose them for profit.

So if you've ever wanted to create a clothing business, shirt business, tote business, etc., this side hustle is really cool. You can read about that blog post here.

Have a great week!
